Hi, my name is Paul and I'm a jack of all trades. My day job is as a Software Engineer, building the backend of websites (nicer than it sounds) and managing the network infrastructure for my employer. By night I create props, write "stuff" and for a while I was a gamer, playing World of Warcraft (yeah, I'm over it again now).
I created BeakZ BuildZ as an outlet for some of the projects I have created (and will create).
Mostly, my projects will be 3D printed, but who knows what I'll end up posting about. My previous posts are mainly woodworking, but I'm sure there will be a few more of those in my future too. My novel writing was a time-consuming part of my life, but this has taken a back seat to 3D modeling and prop making today.
You can see some of the past, current and future projects from the menus at the top of the page and on the right side of this page.
I'm British, so I use a combination of metric and imperial units when I work! This makes things more fun for everyone, right? I tend to use inches when there's a large dimension, such as a length of board, and metric for smaller measurements. Or, depending on the day, I may just use metric all the time. I get this from my father who was a woodworker (still is), so I was brought up using inches, but taught metric at school. Like I said, it makes things fun!
Thank you, your support is appreciated!
